Can you guess where we went last Friday? The weather was gorgeous and my sis in law and I thought it was a great day to head to the beach. It had been a while since our last visit and we were both itching to get out there and enjoy the sun and sand. So that is just what we did. It was perfect!
We nearly had it all to ourselves. So our kids could run up and down the beach while we sat happily in our chairs and had a clear view of them either way. Lovely!

I love it when I capture this sweet girl taking it all in. Reminds me to slow down and treasure these moments and know that she won't be little forever. We had fun watching the divers go exploring. And the kids made plenty of sand cakes to go around.

They also took on the task of clearing our section of beach of all jellyfish they saw.

I love watching the pelicans all lined up and perched so nicely on the rocks.

They are only three months apart and I was just telling my sis in law that I hope they are best friends as they grow up together.
Our time at the beach was sweet and although I was beat after all that fun in the sun I had a little more fun planned. Not too long ago Jeff and Karina camped out in the back yard. And ever since then she and I have been talking about doing another little campout just us. So we pulled out the tent and got it all comfy cozy. After a nice grilled dinner outside with Jeff's parents we said goodnight and crawled in to settle down for the night.

She was so excited and I loved that time with her even though mommy didn't last that long. I also didn't sleep as hard as she did. It's amazing the noises some kids can sleep through. But we woke up feeling rested and took the short walk to the showers and kitchen for coffee. :)

Poor Jazz wanted to camp too. Oh well maybe next time.
After we got it together and were ready for the day we went out to pick up breakfast and make a special delivery.

Yum!!

Yum!!
Our Saturday was full of things around the house. But we waited for daddy to get home and went out for a nice dinner and some fun too. I loved making that memory with my sweet girl and pray we can make many more. As the weather cools off and we enjoy all the sweetness of fall I hope to get on here more and be better about sharing our precious moments together.
Hope you are enjoying some precious moments of your own and that you can soak in all this beauty that surrounds us praising the Lord for all His great blessings!
