mr.amazing

I would like you to meet Mr. Amazing. He has this name for so many reasons. He is not only an amazing husband, an amazing father, and an amazing man of God. He is so much more. Mr. Amazing and I have been through so many things together. We have looked in great anticipation to the future and been blessed and burdened by it. We have walked many roads together and I look forward to all the roads we have yet to travel.

We have sat and contemplated the deep issues of life and we have run full speed through the vast ocean of fun and failures this life has shown us. And through it all I wouldn't want to spend one minute of it with anyone else. I want Mr. Amazing by my side through thick and thin, joy and in sorrow for all our tomorrows.

How did he become Mr. Amazing you ask? Well he has two amazing parents that have raised him to be the man he is. But most of all he has a heavenly Father that he trusts with his life and knows that he could do nothing apart from the Almighty hand of God working in and through Him to make him into this AMAZING man!
Mr. Amazing will be turning 29 tomorrow. And of all the years I hope this one will be the best as we together bask in the beauty, wonder, and joy this life holds when we are close to our AMAZING GOD!

tomorrow

Tomorrow this precious girl will be turning four years old. Where has the time gone? She is not only a miracle to me, but also the sunshine that brightens each day. Four years ago today she was wiggling around inside me and I was dreaming of what that sweet face would look like. Then at 3:30 am in the morning I told her daddy it was time to go to the hospital. So we grabbed our bags and set out on the most wonderful adventure we'd ever know.
Now I can't wait to see what is to come. She has brought us so much joy and I am excited to see all that the Lord has for her. We are ready to celebrate with her and show her just how much she means to us with a fun little party this week. It will be flowers and butterflies this year for decorations. And I've already found some really cute things for that theme. So come back soon and have a great week too!!

baby noah

A few weeks ago now we welcomed my sweet new nephew Noah into the family. I was so blessed to be able to run up to the hospital in the early hours of the morning the day he was born to see him for the first time. It was a precious time to be with my sis and to joy in this beautiful baby boy of hers.
Well later that week Karina and I were able to go and see him some more, once he was home, and also bring some yummy dinner to my sis and her family. As you can see his brother and sister are quite taken with him too as are we.
We enjoyed lots of snuggling as well as some entertainment from Noah's oldest sister Natalie.

These are some fun little puppets I made her for her birthday. She is quite the dog lover and had a great little dog party I blogged about a while back now.

Karina is sure a proud cousin and can't wait until it is her turn to have a new little brother or sister!!

Then it was my turn. I waited patiently and wasn't ready to give this little bundle up even when it was time to go.

Mommy and baby are doing wonderfully. They even joined us for a pool day today. Noah ended up sleeping in the quiet air conditioned house the whole time we played outside. But just being able to peek at him was a sweet pleasure. I am ready for more baby holding times and can't wait to see the little smile he has as he gets a little older.
Thank heaven for little boys!
