I have never seen a dragonfly this close up. But with my zoom lense I was able to get a good close up without scaring him away. They sure are funny looking little things. I love watching all the butterflies in my backyard and could sit and take pictures of them all day long. But there are other things to do of course. Hope you all are enjoying these last days of September and looking forward to Oct. as much as I am!!

I think I am going to make up some more of these cute cupcakes really soon. I have lots of pink and brown yarn and I know Karina would thrill on having her own. I am really good at coming up with fun gift ideas for other peoples kids and then not making them for my own child. So I will break that cycle and cook up some of these for my own precious little baker. I think I will go and work on some now so I will catch you all later and hopefully with a cupcake or two to show. :)
.....and his little man! I am so excited to share this sweet picture of my precious brother and his new baby boy!! I couldn't be happier for my bro and his wife. They have so patiently waited for this day and now it has come and gone and they are enjoying this sweet little gift. I can't wait to get my hands on him and tell him just how much his Auntie K loves him. Praise the Lord for these blessings from heaven and may we never forget who they really belong to and for whose glory they are here.

Oh how I love using scrap yarn! These are a few little hats I've enjoyed making lately. The two in the front are some I will be selling on Etsy. The middle one is a new hat for Karina. I can't wait to make a fun big ribbon flower for it and get some fun pictures of her in it!! I would be knitting non stop right now if there weren't a lot of other things to do, but there are. So I will enjoy it when I can and I hope you all are enjoying some craft time too. And thank you to all my crafty girls out there that inspire me. I love our get together times!
A dear friend of mine who lives many miles away is expecting her second little one very soon and I couldn't help but make her a little something. She had a little girl first and this one is a little boy. Her name is Joy and that is just what you feel when you meet her. So I thank God for Joy and pray that this little man will come into this world happy and healthy and that God would bless their sweet family as they raise him as unto the Lord!
I was so blessed to be able to celebrate my mom, with my mom, on her birthday this year with a yummy lunch and fun day together. This very precious and special woman means so much to me I won't even try to describe it here. It would take way too long. So I will just say that I love her so very much and thank God CONSTANTLY for her!!!

We got to this quiet little spot and pulled out the lunch we packed. It was such a lovely place to sit and take in all the beauty around us.
There was a really fun rope swing that my mom and I just had to try right next to this little spot. I love that my mom will still jump from rope swings and be crazy with me. We did it while our husbands looked on and I KNOW they thought we were nuts!
Just having a little fun with our camera and that amazing blue/green water.
